reviews, ratings and sharing.

Every album in rpm has a page with ratings and reviews from other people who own it. You can write on artist walls, keep a public profile, and share your collection with friends. We are adding more ways for collectors to talk about their albums.

the groove: reviews and comments.

The groove is the review section of an album page. Write a review with a rating of one to five stars; the editor supports bold, italic, headings and lists. Mark other reviews as helpful or not helpful.

  • Sort by votes, by date, by length, or by the most positive or negative.
  • The review with the most helpful votes is shown first as the top review.
  • Leave a comment on the album. Reports are read by a person; nothing is hidden automatically.
  • Reviews and ratings work on the iPhone too.

Linked releases

reviews per release.

A first pressing and a reissue can sound different, so reviews in rpm belong to a release. Link each album to the release you own, found by catalogue number, barcode or country. Everyone who owns that release sees the same album page and the same reviews.

Artist walls

Each artist page has a wall. Write posts about the artist; reviews and ratings of their albums appear there too.

What comes next

planned.

We want rpm to become a place where collectors talk about their albums. These features are planned, and the beta testers will help decide how they work:

  • Follow other listeners.
  • See what other people are listening to.
  • A wall of your own that shows your collection.
  • Share an album or a playlist with one friend.

These are not in the app yet.

We are choosing a limited number of beta testers. They get the app, 100 GB in the cloud and the supporter perks.
