(re)discover
your collection

rpm is a music collection app built around the way people actually love music. It brings your CDs, DVDs, vinyl, cassettes and digital music together in one personal library: part catalogue, part streaming service, part social space, meant to give collectors a place to collect, listen, discover and discuss the music they own.

Your collection can stay local, on your computer alone, or go up into the cloud so you can reach it wherever you are, while the focus stays on owning and understanding the music you love. Import your physical collection, catalogue it easily, and start listening without building everything from scratch.

Collect what you love.
Listen to what you own.
Discover what's next.

The core service is free, with 50 GB of cloud storage on every account.

Choose an album

rpm presses the record in the colour of the cover, so the disc on the deck belongs to the sleeve on the shelf. A cover with no colour in it presses black.

More than a library

It's more than just a music library

rpm is all about storing your records, but it is also about getting to know them.

  • An album gets its own Album and Track Info page once linked to a release;
  • Custom-coloured vinyls and discart give you the physical feel while listening digitally;
  • Timed lyrics, album details, artist information and links to the artists' socials get you more involved;
  • While the music sets the mood, artist images make the music you are listening to more immersive.

Images are sourced from multiple sources, including TheAudioDB, Fanart.tv, Wikipedia and SonoVault. If the selection doesn't include an image you like, you can also provide and scale your own.

Sometimes you've had enough of listening to the same songs over and over again. That's why your listening habits help shape a unique experience:

  • Personalised playlists collect the songs you love, and provide you recommendations based on them;
  • A dynamic homepage that changes with each launch to give you relevant suggestions;
  • Automatic playlists that are built around genres, decades and moods;
  • rpm listens to what and when you play certain music, to recommend you songs based on when you're using the app.

For those albums you haven't listened to (fully), you now get a taste of what you've been missing out on.

Because music is better when shared, rpm has always maintained a community-first approach, through the groove.

In the groove, you can:

  • Write reviews for music you've listened to, and share your recommended track(s);
  • Leave comments on releases and interact with others*;
  • See what other people are listening to*;
  • Design and build your own wall to show your style*.

* indicates a work in progress feature.

  • All users get up to 50 GB of cloud storage. Forever free.

Music isn't just something you stream. rpm brings the physical and digital sides of your collection together in one personal library, designed around ownership rather than algorithms.

Getting your music in is meant to be quick and painless, and high quality artwork and disc visualisations are pulled in to make your collection look as good as it sounds.

  • Import CDs and DVDs directly, with hi-res lossless ripping and Dolby Atmos / 5.1 audio.
  • Catalog IDs make metadata lookup easier, with rpm, Discogs and Sonovault identifying releases and filling in the details.
  • The rpm Recorder records vinyl and cassettes losslessly, straight into your library.
  • Noise cancellation, correction for accidental restarts and needle drops, splitting a recording into albums, and accurate tagging.
  • Artwork from Cover Art Archive, Discogs and Sonovault.

Your collection stays physical, but your music doesn't have to.
